    ASSIGNMENT NO. 1  ASSESSMENT: 20% of Total Mark
    Each student is to submit a written report regarding ‘the Past, Present, and Future of
    Asset Management (AM), Property Management (PM), Facility Management (FM),
    and Corporate Real Estate (CRE)’.
    First, discuss the evolution of ‘Asset Management (AM), Property Management (PM),
    Facility Management (FM), and Corporate Real Estate (CRE)’ during last few decades.
    Second, describe the roles and characteristics of each player in AM, PM, FM, and CRE.
    And discuss the differences or similarities among the players (Asset Manager, Property
    Manager, Facility Manager, CRE Manager).
    Third, outline your thoughts on how the roles of each player may further evolve over the
    next decade.
    Each student is to submit a written report (A4 size, maximum 2000 words, with 12 point
    font) on Thursday, 01 Sep 2016, 9:00 am. (20% of the total mark)
    Please submit the report to the lecturer at the class.
