    Part 2: Purpose and Scope of the Report. [5%]

    Part 3: Product Attributes. [15%]                                                                                           
     
    Clear and concise description of the product.    
    An explanation of how the product’s attributes appeal to consumers and make them feel that they are getting value for money.    
    Explain how the Firm has positioned their product in the market.    
     
    Part 4: Market Segmentation [25%]                                                                                   
     
     
     
    A detailed market segmentation using Demographic, Benefits Sought and one other segmentation base is to be prepared.    
         
    A justification must be given for the choice of each segmentation base.     
       
    The segmentation must identify and provide a detailed and well written description of three [3] consumer groups.    
         
    There must be quantitative evidence from various sources to support your statements about each profiled group.    
     
    Part 5: Primary Target Audience and External Influences. [15%]                                                                                                               
     
     
     
    Students must give reasons for their choice of the primary target market.  
    Evidence must be given to show why this group will respond to the product.    
    How important are opinion leaders in the promotion of the product?    
    Discuss why a member of an aspirational reference group would be keen to buy the product.

    Provide recommendations for a marketing the product:   
    1. What are the three most economic, but effective, forms of media in the promotion your product?  You must justify the choice of each.
       
         
    1. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of collecting information about the product of your choice.

    ·         Appropriate use of APA in text.  
    ·         Appropriate use of APA – in listing your references.    
    ·         References must be drawn from a wide range of sources.    
    ·         Current statistical data MUST be used in this report.

    The Report Content:
    The Report must display clarity of expression, correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
